Charity begins at home, with so many more families going down as help has been cut to survival support.
No web site, but word was spread by social media. Here - families with children in elementary school, have signed up to provide a meal to a family, every Sunday, to keep their heads above "water". Currently, 12 have signed up to provide one family meal, or 3 months of Sundays. Giving once every 3 months is a gift that people here can give. Family is extremely grateful.
Only coordinator knows the family and its address. This person picks up & delivers food; a trusted friend of mine for 14 years. NO other info besides what are the favored foods, has been given out.
No one has demanded credit for charity work, as many see that anyone in the 99% could be next. The actions of "Do unto others as you would have done to you", in action by everyday people.
